Not only does I do Faux do museum quality work, I do Faux just completed work on the exhibit Aviation Station - Runways to Rockets: Our Place in Aerospace for the Museum of Science and Discovery in Ft Lauderdale.
A little about me:
I have the "Midas Touch" to turn straw into gold, and I have been known to create many "miracles" using assorted mediums, to revive the charm and richness of old world patinas and apply them to fit in with today's trends.
In our world of dwindling natural resources I can think of no better way to recycle "second hand" treasures than by giving them a new life using artistic answers to preserve past decorative heritages.
I embellish works by imitating endangered species of tortoise, ivory or skins, as well as precious stones like lapis and malachite or fantasy marbles. I use them to adorn "scrimshaw" boxes, tole trays and faux marble surfaces.
I generously participated in charitable events in New York which included my work for the Kips Bay Boys Club and The New York Botanical Gardens Fundraiser.
Currently I work with select designers, contractors and individual clients on independent projects.
